This website provides Hong Kong Cantonese Bible reading text in HTML, JSON and plain text. Reference editions are listed separately from the Cantonese reading edition.

The catalog lists the available Cantonese chapters and the reference editions available in the catalog. Use the book, chapter and edition shown on each page when citing. Do not infer the text of a chapter that is not listed.

Original Cantonese translations, notes and introduction text are licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/), unless otherwise noted. Credit 粵讀聖經 · Can Read Bible, include the passage and source URL, and state modifications. Third-party reference texts, source editions, historical documents, photographs and trademarks retain their own licenses.

OCCBT reference text is CC BY-SA 4.0; attribution and original license are linked in /about/.

WebMCP, when supported: read_current_passage reads the displayed Cantonese text; set_comparison changes the local comparison view; configure_teleprompter controls the local reading display. No authentication is required.

Progress is generated from currently published primary-edition chapter metadata. Counts distinguish New Testament and Old Testament uploads from additional human reviews selected by the administrator for the current text. Historical counts cover active public physical sources, deduplicating language streams. Corpus transcription and AI OCR are separate source categories; neither is a guarantee of error-free text. Use the chapter catalog for actual verse data, not these aggregate counts.
